Job Responsibilities
1. Sourcing Strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine the organization's sourcing strategy.
- Analyze market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities to make informed sourcing decisions.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and maintain a robust supplier database.
2. Supplier Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and contractual obligations.
- Continuously assess supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Procurement Process Optimization
- Implement best practices for supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration between sourcing, procurement, and other related functions.
- Collaborate with SQE in China and Thailand for inspection plan and product validation.
4. Cost Management
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure sourcing activities align with budgetary constraints and cost-saving targets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic negotiations, competitive bidding, and value engineering.
5. Risk Mitigation
- Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to sourcing and procurement.
6. Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and key performance indicators.
- Utilize data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Sustainability and Ethics
- Promote ethical sourcing practices and sustainability initiatives in supplier selection and engagement.
- Stay informed about environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations related to sourcing.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or supply chain management.
2. Work Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing & Operational Procurement activities.
- Experience in construction raw material and machine for direct procurement and / or Indirect procurement.
- Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial sector is a plus.
- Supplier Development background.
3. English Level
- Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written).
4. ITS Skills
- Experience in ERP system (Microsoft dynamic AX is plus), advance of Microsoft excel and PowerPoint and Power BI.
5. Other Technical Skills
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision for the supply management organization, and ability to drive results while developing a strong team.
