Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Operations
- Responsible for all logistics activities of the company.
- Coordinate with the sales operation team to receive and review the weekly delivery plan for all product types, and send weekly booking requests to the forwarder.
- Support sales quotation to budget freight cost and tentative shipping schedule.
- Make advance booking inquiries with the forwarder to anticipate shipment plans.
- Calculate the number of containers required for the delivery plan or air freight volume for air shipments.
- Manage loading and unloading schedules to align with warehouse activities.
- Coordinate with the planning team to ensure smooth and manageable loading and unloading operations.
- Process all company deliveries, including DCO sales, affiliates, and 3rd‑party clients.
- Process all “trade abroad” shipments for the company.
2. Freight & Forwarder Management
- Negotiate freight costs with forwarders.
- Control shipment costs versus the approved budget.
- Gather all charges from the forwarder, review alignment with the quotation, and forward them to the accounting department.
3. Documentation & Customer Coordination
- Provide shipment notifications to clients.
- Dispatch original shipping documents to clients or submit them to the bank depending on the agreed payment terms.
- Draft L/C review and handle amendments or modifications when necessary.
- Interface with clients regarding all delivery information and handle issues if any.
- Update sales order details when required for export information.
4. Compliance & International Trade
- Maintain understanding of international regulations for various countries and provide advice, guidelines, or solutions when clients face import difficulties.
- Process all “trade abroad” documentation and export‑related compliance tasks.
5. Reporting, KPI & Continuous Improvement
- Compute and analyze monthly KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare monthly logistics reports.
- Summarize export invoice transactions between company and other affiliates.
- Update ocean freight rates in the ERP system monthly or upon request.
- Submit process development or ERP change requests when needed to enhance logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
6. Other
- Perform tasks assigned by the manager or superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics or similar roles, including proven experience in export and international shipping processes.
- Proficient in spoken and written English for business use.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
